Formal telehealth consent is required prior to the start of services and is completed electronically through our secure client portal powered by Sessions Health.
What Is Telehealth?
Telehealth, also known as virtual or online therapy, allows clients to receive mental health services through secure video communication rather than in-person appointments.
Telehealth sessions at Evolve Integrative Counseling are intended to provide the same standard of professional care as in-person therapy while offering greater accessibility and flexibility.

Clients are encouraged to participate in sessions from a private, secure location using password-protected devices whenever possible.

Clients are responsible for:

Ensuring devices are secure and updated

Avoiding public or shared Wi-Fi when possible
Email and website contact forms are not secure methods for sharing clinical information.
Eligibility for Telehealth Services
To receive telehealth services from Evolve Integrative Counseling:

Clients must be physically located in North Carolina at the time of the session

Clients must provide accurate contact and emergency information

Clients must consent to telehealth services through Sessions Health

Telehealth services are not appropriate for emergencies.
